Who We Are and What We Do – Be A Peacemaker Champion!

Peacemaker Corps Association (PCA) a United Nations affiliated NGO was founded in 1997 to support the United Nations mission to promote peace, tolerance and nonviolent conflict resolution for youths around the world.

For 20 years, our program has given future peacemakers across the globe a voice by providing them with filmmaking and storytelling skills and technical tools. This is achieved by enlisting the support of community mentors to teach the youths skills to promote peace within their homes, schools and communities in their daily lives.

Due to the incredible drive of communication through technology and social media in the last two decades, The Peacemaker Corps has shifted their focus from workshops in malls to creating a virtual bridge, our PSGFF, for youth to tell their stories and have their voices heard in a way that they are comfortable/familiar with and matches with current times.

Their films are tangible examples of how innovative uses of today’s ever changing technology can create shared meaning in communities and promote health and well-being through real and inspirational stories of peace in the streets.

The NGO Peacemaker Corps Association, founded in 1997, the parent company of PSGFF.org (Peace in the Streets Global Film Festival) is a 501 C3 nonprofit organization.
